a month or so ago, on one of the CD sites, they asked moms what their favorite detergent was to use on CD... someone mentioned their homemade detergent. intrigued as i was, i found out that she uses a recipe that costs approximately $2 to make and lasts for about a year, give or take.
it's by the Duggars (the family with 19+ kids) under their recipes' section (about 1/5th into the site). check it out here. i'm waiting to finish my detergents first before i try this... still for $2? worth a try!
